Becoming a ROCKSTAR
Apparently this is "Rockstar 101" so if you ever wanted to be a true rock star you have a check list, 1 - make sure you have skunk hair, 2-dress in chain mail 3-wear black lipstick, 4- make sure you have a slash reference in there, because he is the epitome of rock and roll right?
On another note I like it so WHATEVER YOU CAN JUDGE ME, it gets a little trashy ever so often (or a lot, take your pick)....BUT WHO ISN'T THESE DAYS!?

Like Mike Said, " I Dont Matter If Your Black Or White."
I always feel at a loss these days when I get dressed to go out at night, I feel like I wear the same thing. My friend at work said to me when I went in....which is never, "Dana every time i see you, your wearing the same thing!" Which isn't true, but it's because I pretty much wear shades of black. Which is fine by me, but if I could get this entire wardrobe by Katie Gallagher I wouldn't care if it looked like I was wearing the same thing all the time because these clothes are killer!

Lions, Tigers and FURVERTS!
I love coffee table books, especially ones that will either 1. piss people off 2. get people laughing or 3. make someone extremely uncomfortable. Or hey! why not all three! A while back I bought a book at my job for like A BUCK! Which is awesome because a book about furverts shouldn't be more then a dollar. BUT! its hilarious and completely inappropriate, especially if oh lets say my mom decides to drop by my apartment and starts looking at a book with people dressed up as animals doin it doggy style in a kitchen! That is bound to get reaction one and maybe a pinch of two. I mean I like it so that's all that matters right? right...so in tribute to furverts and the escapades of slutty Philly boys and girls will get into this weekend here is Lily Allen dressed up like a panda! Maybe she will use that later for a freaky night with her man!

Oh and this is just so darn cute!

Crack N' Bones
Hmmmm it's sorta late at night and I switched on Bravo, hoping Law and Order would be on, but no it's not! How could I forget it's still before midnight so Million Dollar Match Maker is on repeat for the 5Th hour in a row! BLA! Oh well, the matchmaker chick is a Jew so I like her! Now that I'm hooked watching the show it got me thinking about boys...I mean come on what do you expect. By no means am I day dreaming about an over-weight millionaire who is looking for a dumb 21 year old to gawk at, but still I was thinking about hott dudes! This editoral from Vogue Japan is kinda sexy and yet again is WAY better than American Vogue. ANY WHO ENOUGH BABBLING AND ON TO THE GOOD STUFF!

Rapture Riders
Thank god its freaking Friday people! I guess you could say my Friday started last night though. After a crazy week of projects and junk for school I needed to get the EF out of my apartment, and that I did! Weekends are great and I wanna party like a rock star! My rock star you ask? DEBBIE HARRY! Total babe and she just is awesome, plain and simple. Here are some shots I love of this platinum blonde babe!

Aliens and Animals
There are some stylist out there that are just so damn good at what they do and Kattaca is definitely one of them. Kattaca is a boy girl team made up of Madrid, Spain's Carol Gamarra and Mario Ville. They definitely have a distinct style that's over the top and resonates in your mind after looking at them. Here is one of my favorites from Kattaca, it comprises of lots of hair and structured clothes, oh did I mention lots of hair! The editorial was titled, Nonsense In The Dark, for Avenue Illustrated Magazine.

Unleash The Tiguhhh
Last night I was at Tigerbeats which seems to be the new party night of Philadelphia and you know what I'm not hatin'. Philadelphia's favorite SPANK ROCK made an epic appearance doing their rap thang and it was totally kick ass. Which takes me to my next point. I love street fashion, you get to see what people wear everyday, rather then look at a magazine with a model dressed in the best designer clothes that most of us can't afford anyways. Don't get me wrong I love it, but it's good to see from time to time what normal people wear.
Courtesy of my lovely friend Cheryl Vu, I took some pictures she had from Tigerbeats that I loved and put them with party pictures from Studio 54, which is probably the most famous party place ever.

UNISEXY TIME
I never really appreciated my schools library until recently. Discovering an array of fashion magazines from many years ago, but also books and Internet resources I can't normally get on at home. Why you ask? Well, because I'm poor and don't want to pay for them! While browsing all the sites I could get on, and clearly not doing school work, I came across Hint Magazine. As I was browsing, seeing what the magazine had posted on the site, I saw that the manager of Seven New York was featured because of the appropriately named 1to3 AW2010 design. It is a garment that can be worn various way depending on how you adjust the strings and fabric, as shown below. OH, WAIT! DUDES CAN WEAR IT AS WELL!

Jesus Christ Superstar
Recently Lindsay Lohan has been doing a good amount of nothing, but in her defence when she is doing something it's always controversial. First she does fashion editorial, if you will, for Muse Magazine which was AWESOME!(SEE FIRST POST) Now she is JESUS! Breaking news people Lindsay Lohan is Jesus....I always knew there was something special about her. Not only is LL Jesus but the model on the March Issue of Vogue Japan (Thanks to Nicola Formichetti, Lady Gaga's stylist) is too! I guess Jesus is so in right now....one must ask themselves WWJD, and if we are talking about LL as Jesus well you can pretty much do whatever the hell you want.

Oh Hey There Baby Doll
Why is Vogue in every other country so much better!? I ask myself that every time I look at other Vogue's from Japan to Germany to Italy. I was discussing this with my friend in the design lab as we looked up fashion editorials, is it because as Americans we are to safe? We can't thing outside the box? Or are we just boring? I think it is a combination of all of them.
This Vogue Italia editorial isn't anything epic and I'm sure your could find something like it in a Vanity Fair or Harpers Bazaar, but its pretty sweet considering you have models such as Jamie Bochert, Daphne Guinness and Agyness Deyn. Oh! did I mention it was photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Lori Goldstein who used looks from Poppa Karl (Lagerfeild), the great Alexander McQueen and Lanvin.
